Office of the
Supreme Chancellor
The Office of the Supreme Chancellor is in reality two things. The first is the institution of the position of Supreme Chancellor, the head of state and government for the Galactic Republic, which also acts as Senate president and chair. The Chancellor is elected by and from the Senators and Representatives of the Galactic Senate to a four year term, with no term limit in place, and can be removed by a Vote of No Confidence by the Senate. The second is the combined staff, aides, and government organizations which are subordinate to the Chancellor.
