Just a word about the profiles. Due to past experiences on previous RP sites, there is a felt need for Management to clarify some aspects of profiles, as well as characters.

1. You have a limited time frame to make edits to your posts. Inconvenient, we know, however we do not want to see drastic changes to posts later on, nor characters, in an effort to take advantage of our free nature on the forum.

2. We ask that you have an avatar for your character, to give other Members, and Management, an idea of the appearance of the character. If applicable, please include descriptions of their style of dress and other aspects of the appearance, especially those that diverge from the avatar. We ask that the avatars be appropriate, and should you use the same person, there be something different between the two (i.e. 'Young' Jeff Bridges from Tron: Legacy and Jeff Bridges from The Big Lebowski). Should such happen, there is the possibility that characters will comment on their likeness with the other. Twins are, of course, a given on their similarities.

3. There is no approval system, nor formal review. Just post your profile and go. We do not have a set template either, just go with what you are comfortable with. If you want to spell everything out in a personnel file style profile, go ahead. Don't feel bad if you want to post just the basics. We do ask that a complete biography be posted, or at least a summary including the major events the character has been a part of and the major events in their life. Once this is written, please stick to it. You can, of course, revise the character. If you do so, we ask that you keep them at least similar enough to fit in their previous actions and so that they stay familiar to the other characters; any major divergence must be explained.

4. Despite style, profiles are largely considered public information, at a reasonable sense. At the same time, this should not dampen what information goes into a profile. If you feel someone shouldn't know information in your profile, or that you should know some information in someone's profile, please contact Management.

5. If you have any questions or need help, please contact Management. Our door is always open. At the same rate, should we find an issue with your profile, we will definitively be contacting you.
