BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Coronet on Corellia. His father, Drake Karath, is a decorated and highly respected former Supreme Commander of the Galactic Army. His mother, Raksta Karath (nee Yusanis), is an Echani warrior, who is notable for fighting against the Mandalorians and special service in the SBI. He is primarily raised by his mother, as his father is often away from home. She raises him in the traditional Echani ways.
Graduates from the public school system on Corellia, and immediately enlists into the Galactic Army, serving as an Infantryman. Before shipping out, he marries his secondary sweetheart, Kaija Halcyon.
After training, received additional training as a Designated Marksman for his squad.
Following nearly a year of service, he is selected for Shocktrooper Training.
After a year in the Shocktroopers, elects to pursue his open slot in the Republic Military Academy.
Graduates Valedictorian of the Carida Class of 1130 ATC, able to pull off a double major.
Volunteers for assignment in the Special Forces, successfully passing selection.
Immediately assigned to Havoc Squad, being put in charge of a Team.

Following service in the Leth'aar-Republic Conflict, becomes the commander of Havoc Squad following promotion to Major.
Within a year, finds himself promoted to General, due to mass retirements, and appointed Commander of the Special Operations Command. Following his appointment, he reorganizes the Republic Special Forces.
In 1136 ATC, several Republic officers, including his father and himself, speak out against the administration of Supreme Chancellor Jack Kuat. Their words catch the ears of voters throughout the galaxy, and several military officers are voted into Senate seats by write-in votes. Karath accepts the seat offered him, and resigns his commission. Shortly before his election, his divorce his finalized with his wife.
In the next Chancery Election, Jack Kuat doesn't receive a single vote. Instead, Abdul Karim Allawi of Eriadu is elected, who immediately appoints Karath to Chairman of the Defense Committee.
In 1145 ATC, he is appointed as Minister of Defense, vacating his position as Chairman of the Defense Committee and Senator of Corellia and the Corellia Sector.
While accusations of corruption surround the Chancellor, he proceeds to initiate a military modernization project.
In 1149 ATC, he is nominated for Supreme Chancellor, and is elected by a vast majority.
Over his term, health care, education, and tax reform all occur, as well as an expansion of the RAF.
In 1153, runs for re-election, and is unopposed. No corruption is found, following an investigation.
